The AS-3733 standard recommends cleaning your upholstery every 1- 3 years, depending on its use.

There are Five Steps to be Aware of for Cleaning a Lounge Suite Correctly and Professionally:

• Cleaning should be done with a warm water extraction system that controls the temperature so as not to shrink or stretch fabrics.
• A technician, such as the professionally trained upholstery cleaners at All Seasons, should do a dye test to ensure the dye will not run.
• All stains should be pre-treated with enzyme chemicals to ensure no colour loss from the fabric but good stain removal.
• The lounge suite should be pre-sprayed with the correct shampoos, deodorisers, sanitisers and colour enhancers in accordance with the manufacturers’ Australia Standard 3733.
• The water should be gently extracted removing 95% of the moisture. Drying times will be on average 4 – 6 hours. We also recommend the re-application of the upholstery protection product Teflon. This will give you great results each time the fabric is cleaned.
