The major advantages this pest management system has over traditional treatments are:

• Firstly, it increases pest kill rates by over one-third but at the same time chemical usage is reduced by over 50% within your living areas. This means a safer living environment for you, your family and pets.
• Secondly, by thorough inspection of wet areas, such as kitchens, we can specifically target pest breeding sites. This method is different to traditional methods of ‘spray and pray’ which rely on insects coming into contact with chemicals.
• Thirdly, all chemicals are extremely safe and biodegradable. Only those chemicals that conform to Health Department standards for internal use are actually used inside.

Cultural methods involve manipulating the conditions of the pest environment to make it less favourable for pests.

We combine chemical, physical and cultural methods aimed specifically at the breeding habits of pests to eliminate current colonies and reduce the opportunity for further re-infestation.

Our system is based on leading pest management techniques in the United States and Europe and is the safest, most environmentally-friendly method yet developed. It can be applied using World Health Organisation recommendations, which restrict the use of internal sprays. If infestations of certain cockroach types exist, low toxicity internal sprays can be used.

The internal chemicals we use are synthetic pyrethrins. They are the safest insecticides available. They work by attacking the insect nerve system.

Internal growth regulators disrupt growth and reproduction in insects. They are very popular as they attack enzymes within the insect that pets and humans do not have, and therefore they are extremely safe. They also offer long-term control over German cockroaches and fleas.

Hydramethlynon baits are, again, extremely safe. They have low levels of toxicity and we will always place them in out-of-the-way places. They come in the form of a gel that we use to treat wet areas.

The external chemicals we use are organophosphates, a synthetic chemical. They are for external use only.
